   In case you havn’t noticed it is a beach wedding….have you ever tried to get surfers into a stuffy suit and tie? Good luck to you. The jandels and casual shirts were just fine with me.

    Great wedding, can i ask where you had the reception afterwards. My fiance and I are thinking of Whanaga for a wedding venue am struggling with reception venues at this point for 100ish people

    Hey,
    thanks. Whangamata is a great location for a wedding. Our reception was at the Whangamata Club. We had 153 people. I’m not sure if they are still doing weddings as they have new caterers. Recently friends of ours went to a reception at Oceania restaurant. Another option is the 18 hole golf course facility.(Have been to a few weddings up there and it is a good venue) It’s kind of limited as to where you can go. All the best, hope it all works out.
